Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is about to offer a decrease in fares to its destinations all around the globe applicable from 22nd January till 30th June, 2012.
Destinations offered include; Dubai/Abu Dhabi (PKR 30,650), Manchester (PKR 66,290), London (PKR 65,100) and New York (PKR 92,750) for all return tickets on Coral Economy Class.
For Pearl Business Class return tickets, the destinations include Dubai/Abu Dhabi (PKR 65,650), Manchester (PKR 224,470), London (PKR 207,100) and New York (PKR 281,740).
You can get this offer by bookings from 29th December to 9th January 2012 and only a limited number of seats will be made available.
Microsoft is going to launch its Customer Immersion Experience (CIE) programme in Karachi.
By the Customer Immersion Experience (CIE) programme Microsoft is authorizing local firms with a host of business productivity solutions.
Kamal Ahmed, Country General Manager, Microsoft Pakistan mentioned that,

The SpareBank 1 alliance has signed a pact with Telenor as dealer of the alliance’s total requirement for telephony. The contract worth is NOK 62 million per year.
Telenor has been offering communications solutions to SpareBank 1 since 2007. The joint venture has now been reinforced with a new contract that runs until the end of 2015.
Vidar Horne, Purchasing Director of the SpareBank 1 group, mentioned that,
“We have found that the mobile area has been through a period of dramatic development in recent years, both with our customers and internally. We now have many employees who use smart telephones at work. This means that both data traffic and speech are important to us. We look forward to developing into a more mobile business in partnership with Telenor.”
The bank alliance is currently using Telenor’s Proffnett communications solution and has also started running a pilot version of the Mobilt Bedriftsnett mobile solution.
He further added that,
“We have had a rather mixed portfolio of subscriptions among our employees. This will now be streamlined by having one common subscription with fixed prices”

According to Abraham Foss, head of the corporate market at Telenor Norway,
“The banking and finance industry has a major requirement for good communications solutions in order to serve customers. SpareBank 1 is an important customer for Telenor and we are very pleased to take on further challenges in our strong position in this industry.”

Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) is going to hold a 2-day road show in Karachi.
The aim of this road show is to allure he Pakistani businessmen, entrepreneurs and investors to take advantage from the business opportunities accessible at RAK FTZ and develop their business in the county.
The road show will be organized at Pearl Continental Hotel on 23rd to 24th November .
