Houses and Appliances to Flood Victims donated by Samsung

Pakistan: Recently, Samsung Electronics has initiated a new charitable project in Pakistan to supply houses and electronic appliances for the flood affected people.

Samsung offered the funding to IDF – an international NGO, which is building houses for the dispossessed flood victims, in a ceremony held in the Rangpur city near southern Multan region, with the association of the United Nations Organization.

A special ceremony was prepared by IDF on 10^th September, 2011 in Rangpur, where Samsung declared its support for IDF to build new eco-friendly houses (2 houses for flood affected families). Samsung Pakistan’s Senior Manager Mr. H.D. Lee personally attended the ceremony and met the affected families to share their grief.

On this occasion Mr. H.D. Lee mentioned that,

“Samsung is committed to help the flood victims in regaining their healthy lifestyle and getting safe and strong homes as shelters for their families. We are concerned about the poor living conditions of the flood victims all over Pakistan and we are striving to help in quick rehabilitation of these fellow brethren. Samsung will soon be handing over more relief homes and other relief goods in numerous flood affected areas of Pakistan.”

In this first phase of the scheme, Samsung has offered the sum for construction of 1 house and appliances for 2 houses. These appliances incorporated a Samsung Television, Refrigerator and Microwave Oven for every house.

Samsung presents Ch@t 527 (GT-S5270), A Messaging phone

Soon, Samsung will release a new and highly affordable text Messaging phone, the Samsung Ch@t 527 (GT-S5270). This handset will arrive in a premium candybar design with full physical QWERTY keyboard. It contains so many other outstanding features such as it has a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixel, 2MP camera, GPS, Bluetooth, FM Radio and microSD card slot.

In term of connectivity, Samsung Chat 527 supplies Wi-Fi, dual-band 3G, and quad-band GSM. In additional, it is also Samsung Apps support and quick access to social networks. However, it’s price and exact release date is unclear yet.

Samsung Launches Business Notebook

Recently, Samsung Electronics has launched the Samsung Series 6 business notebook which is wholly armed with high protection and excellent performance features for ultimate peace of mind.

According to Hee Chang Yee, MD Samsung Electronics Pakistan,

“At Samsung we manufacture up to 75% of our notebook components, using stringent quality control so we are confident our products offer maximum performance and reliability. The Samsung Series 6 notebook is an important addition to our notebook portfolio as Samsung strives to become one of the top three notebook vendors by the end of 2012. This high performance device hosts sophisticated security features such as fingerprint recognition, data encryption and powerful anti-theft software which make it ideal for business use.”

The Samsung Series 6 business notebook armed with Intel’s vPro technology through which businesses can remotely manage the notebook even when switched off. It also features a safe biometric Fingerprint Reader, to bar sensitive data from being accessed if the notebook is lost or stolen, and a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that encrypts files and folders for added security.

A strong Duracase ProMG chassis protects the notebook for performance with a magnesium back which can withstand up to 1000kg of force on the display enclosure, and the anti-shock HDD with free fall sensor means the notebook can survive accidental drops over 76cm. The notebook also features a spill-resistant keyboard that protects against fluid damage, and solid metal alloy hinges which last much longer than regular notebooks.

The Notebook also come with user-friendly features containing a responsive ergonomically designed keyboard with optimized key sizes and spacing for easier more comfortable typing, and a large touchpad. Other features contain the next generation Intel Core i5 processor and Windows 7 Professional, together with intelligent battery charging technology to maintain power for longer. The battery retains 80% of its capacity for three times longer than a typical notebook battery lasting for around 1000 charges.

The notebook’s anti-reflective screen is up to 40% brighter than normal notebook displays to enable an improved viewing experience.

The Series 6 can connect to a large range of other gadgets, such as a monitor, regular keyboard, mouse, printer and extra ports, with one simple click using the integrated docking station connector so there’s no mess of cables. Users can also rapidly backup and share information using a high-speed USB 3.0 connection, which is 10 times faster than USB 2.0, and can speedily approach data from other gadgets with the unified Express Card 34mm slot

Samsung Presents “Product Training Centre”

Karachi: Recently, Samsung Electronics has declared its state-of-the-art Product Training Centre in Dubai, which is disclosed by Samsung Gulf Customer Satisfaction unit. Samsung has declared its Product Training Centre in Dubai such as it done last year.

Introduction of LG 3D Smart TV In Pakistan

LG Electronics has launch its next-generation 3D Smart TV in Pakistan. This newly introduced LG 3D technology effectively brings the ultimate 3D viewing experience to the Pakistani markets, introducing a new epoch in home entertainment, according to a press release.

Samsung recently, has introduced it’s Smart Series in Pakistan too.

According to S. Y. Ryu, General Manager of LG Electronics Pakistan ,

New Samsung Solar Netbook

Now Samsung presents it’s Solar based netbook. Samsung is working to this end with its “NC215S” netbook. This mini laptop contains photovoltaic cells on its cover and first it will be launched onto the Russian market before being released in other countries.

Samsung “NC215S” is a standard netbook and contains a 1GB of RAM, a 1.66 GHz processor and a 250GB hard drive. It is not wholly powered by solar energy, this helps save on battery power, which has good performance. The “NC215S” battery life of more than 14 hours.
